![]() What started off as a rumour can now be confirmed! Samsung are in the process of releasing the world’s first curved display smartphone. Advantages of the Galaxy’s CurveSo why would Samsung go for a side to side curve? According to Samsung it means;
We suspect that on its release we will get a plethora of additional advantages but until then this is all we have to go on. Where is the new Samsung Available?At the moment it is in the retail process in Korea running on a version of the Android OS. When we found this out we had to ask, why Korea for the launch? SK Telecom the rumoured mobile carrier to be working in conjunction with Samsung, also runs one of the only LTE-Advanced data networks in the world, which brings us to believe the new smartphone will be able to connect to it. Features of the Galaxy RoundSamsung claim to offer ‘exclusive experiences’ for its user of the Galaxy Round. This includes the roll feature that will allow the user to check the time, date, missed calls and battery life with the display off. Consumers will also be able to use the tilt functionality to control aspects like; music, pictures and videos. Things like running multiple applications in the same window - not a problem for the Galaxy Round! With regards specs, the new Samsung Galaxy creation features an epic 5.7-inch super AMOLED display, weights 154 grams with an approximate waist line of 7.9mm. |
